Benefits of Kelpak on Hazelnuts
Also known as filberts or cob nuts, hazelnuts are native in the northern temperate zones. Kelpak trials were conducted by Oregon university from 2023 to 2024, showing significant results including:
- Aleviates abiotic stress
- Better nut set
- Better nut retention
- Increased nut weight and yields
- Certified for use in organic crop production
Recommended application rates
30 days before fertilisation: Apply 3 pints per acre
15 days before fertilisation: Apply 3 pints per acre
At fertilisation: Apply 3 pints per acre
Increase rate by 1 pint/Acre if more than 100 gal spray volume is used. Use a standard buffer if pH of spray solution is above 7. Kelpak can be used together with most agrochemical tank mixes
